Mrs. Nicholas Scherer, 73, of 1516 Marshall street, died suddenly of a heart attack this morning at the home.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 o’clock at the St. Boniface church, the Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Scherer, nee Rose Zych, was born in Newton in 1872 and in 1895 was married to Mr. Scherer. They located in this city. Mr. Scherer died in 1940.
Survivors are a son, Anton, of this city; two brothers, Jacob and John of Newton.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after Friday noon. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
