Addie Walker Soyars, 90, of Rt. 3, Stuart, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1993, in
Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.
A Patrick County native, she was a daughter of the late Abraham Linville
Walker and the late Mary Elizabeth Williams.
Surviving are four daughters, Marie Byrd of Martinsville, Fern Agee of
Stuart, Norma Stanley of Bassett and Peggy West of Stuart; three sons,
Edward Soyars, Samuel Soyars and Thomas Soyars, all of Stuart; two sisters,
Ruth Blair and Jessie Gravely, both of Danville; seven grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Moody Funeral Home chapel with
Elder Leonard Brammer officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial
Gardens
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
