Patricia C. Pauley, 83, passed away Thursday January 6, 2011 in Fort Myers FL. She was born August 28, 1927 in Blue Island, IL to William and Elizabeth (Reardon) Creighton. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing Madison, WI. She was united in marriage to Joseph A. Gaffney on 5-26-1951.
She lived in Sun Prairie WI from 1954 to 1985 where she was past President of St Ann's Alter Society and the Sun Prairie Nursing Association. She retired from St. Mary's Hospital in 1985 and moved to Fort Myers where she was employed at Fort Myers Community and Lee Memorial Hospitals.
She was married to Charles Thomas Pauley in Lee County, Florida on May 15, 1987. He passed away in Fort Myers on September 19, 2002. She is survived by children William Gaffney of Fort Myers, Mary Beth Gaffney of Madison WI, Maureen Gaffney of Seattle WA, Robert Gaffney (Sue) of Sun Prairie WI, and Eileen Gaffney of Boise ID. Grandchildren: Chandra (Josh) Ingersoll, Heath Carpentier, Austin and Shannon Gaffney. Great grandchildren: Brittney and Tyler Duncan and Jazmyn Ingersoll. Three children Kathleen, Megan, Thomas, and son-in-law Steve Hagler (Eileen) pre-deceased her.
