Found in The State (Columbia, SC) 29 August 1973: JENKINSVILLE-Kelley Cornelius Harper, 17, died Tuesday from injuries received in an auto accident in Union County. Born in Fairfield County, he was a son of Alex III and Elouise Cook Harper. He was a senior at McCrory-Liston High School in Blair and a bus driver. Surviving are his parents; six brothers, Rufus Meetze and Alex Harper IV of Columbia and John B. Rudolph, Wilbert and Gilbert Harper of Jenkinsville; a sister, Miss Debra Harper of Jenkinsville; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Fernell Cook of Winnsboro; and paternal grandfather, Alex Harper II of Winnsboro.
