He was born in Shelby County Nov. 16, 1897, and had lived in Lima most of his life.
Mr. Green was a self-employed trucker.
Survivors include his wife, Florence; seven sons; three daughters; two sisters, Mrs. Bonnie Maggert of Zanesfield and Mrs. Helen White of 1201 Reese; a half-brother, Z.F. Hoover of 1200 S. Atlantic and 32 grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Siferd South Chapel with Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
