Mrs. Annie Lou Dixon Watts of St. Simons Island, formally of Sapelo Island, died Sept. 20, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church with burial in Behavior Cemetery. The ferry will leave Meridian Dock at 9 a.m. Saturday. The family will greet friends Friday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia Kareem of Brunswick, Wayne (Candice) Watts of Jacksonville and Jasper Watts of Atlanta; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one aunt, Josephine Walker of Sapelo Island; and other relatives.

She was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church, attended Bible study at Emmanuel Baptist Church and Women's Fellowship at Christian Renewal on St. Simon Island, a 1958 graduate of Todd-Grant high School and retired from King and Prince Hotel after 28 years of services.

Darien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
