Margie Peveto Allen, age 80 of Call, Texas died Friday, Sept. 27, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be 3pm Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Buna, Texas.

Burial will be at Trout Creek Cemetery in Newton County under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.

A native of Deweyville, Texas, she grew up in the Williamson settlement. She had previously lived in Port Arthur, Texas and moved to the Kirbyville area in 1976.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton H. Allen, daughter, Margie Lynn Cloud and her husband Charles H. "Chuck" Cloud, Jr. and her granddaughter, Kimberly Jackson (116169124).

Survivors include her daughters, Debra Jackson and husband Alan of Groves, Texas and Vifve Billingsley and husband Phil of Call, a stepdaughter, Jo Ellen Taylor and husband John of Jefferson, Texas, her brother, Albert Christman and wife Marva, her sisters, Barbara Guidry and husband Dalton, Flo Clark and Norma Black along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
