Curtis passed away Tuesday morning, December 27, 2011 at Watervliet Hospital. He was born June 26, 1936 in Arkansas the son of the late Chester and Idell (Moreland) Burnett. Curtis was a truck driver and a member of AA. Surviving are seven daughters, Sally (Ted) Hopper of Paw Paw, Jennie Stubbs of AL, Rachel Sipka, Carol (Paul) Owens, Alice Burnett, Cindy Hopper and Gina Burnett all of Oklahoma; son, John Burnett of FL; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Theresa Johnson of OK; brother, Chet Burnett of IN; many nieces and nephews; good friend, Mary. He was preceded in death by three sons, Randy, Verbin and Frank Burnett; two sisters, Mary June Hooper, Mary Elizabeth Wyman; and a brother Clyde Burnett. Family will receive friends Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 AM. Interment will follow in Hill Cemetery, Lawrence.
