Allen Eugene Coe, Jr., age 50, of Barbourville, died Monday, September 16, 2013 in the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a son of the late Allen Eugene Coe, Sr., and Betty Ruth Holbrook Coe, born to them on September 13, 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Allen Eugene was a Truck Driver for the Ryder Company; a Member and the Church Bus Driver of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

On November 23, 2010, he united in marriage to Barbara Garland Abner.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Allen Eugene Coe, Sr., and Betty Ruth Holbrook Coe; and by his first wife: Helen McCray Coe in 2008; his brother: Nicholas Keith Coe; and by his sister: Cynthia Renee Wheeler.

Allen Eugene is survived by his loving family: his wife: Barbara Garland Abner Coe of Barbourville. His two daughters: Amanda Nicole Saul of Wytheville, Virginia; and Amber Lynne Coe of Kingsport, Tennessee. His step-son: Bobby Lynn Abner of Barbourville. His grandson: John Daniel Saul of Wytheville, Virginia. His sister: Louise Grubb and husband, Buford of Max Meadows, Virginia. His nieces: Elizabeth Nuckols and husband, Christopher; and Paula Jean Wheeler. His nephew: Joshua Todd Grubb and wife, Laura. His great nephews: Gavin Finn Grubb, Renly Nicolas Grubb and a expectant great nephew to be born: Nathan Nuckols. Several aunts and uncles, and a host of cousins. His mother-in-law: Eulene Garland of Cannon. His sister-in-law: Charlotte Kay Garland of Cannon. His brother-in-law: Jimmy Ray Garland and wife, Suzanne of Gray; and many other relatives, and dear friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Allen Eugene Coe, Jr. will be 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 20, 2013 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garrett Garland, Rev. Vernon Morris and Rev. Herman Hudson officiating.

The Coe family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home on Friday after 4:00 P.M. and until the funeral hour.

Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Buford Grubb, Bobby Abner, Michael Boles, Jimmy Ray Garland, Joshua Grubb, and Chris Nuckols. Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be: Willie McCarty, Adam Eagle, Bill Phipps and Hayes Tuttle.

Burial with a Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the West End Cemetery at Wytheville, Virginia.
