French died at 9:20 a.m. today after an illness of two weeks, at her home Eunice Eliza Gray was born August 28, 1846, in Eddyville, Iowa. She spent her early girlhood there, and was united in marriage to Frank A. French on October 3, 1867. Mrs. French lived to celebrate her golden wedding day, October 3,1917. She had made her home in Keokuk since 1872, except for short intervals. Eunice Eliza Gray was born August 23, 1846, in Eddyville, Iowa. She spent her early girlhood there and was united in marriage to Frank A. French on October 3, 1867. Mrs. French lived to celebrate her golden wedding day, October 3, 1917. She had made her home in Keokuk since 1872, except for a short interval. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and much interested in missionary and Red Cross work.
Mrs. French is survived by her husband and three daughters, Ada M. French of Mahaska, Alberta, Canada. Mrs. Lillian Payne, of Monroe, Iowa and Mrs. Florence Tomlinson of McCleod Valley, Alberta, Canada. In addition, there are three brothers and a sister. Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon, July 18, from the Congregational church, 6th and High streets, Keokuk, Iowa. - Keokuk Gate-City.
