BERLIN -- Carl Franklin Maxwell, 78, of Berlin, entered into rest on Wednesday evening, Sept. 25, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral arrangements are being made by Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg.
Calling hours will be 2-4 p.m., then 5-8 p.m. at Berlin Mennonite Church on Saturday.
The burial service will be Sunday at Berlin Cemetery.
Family is asking that everyone meet at Berlin Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday to leave in procession to Berlin Cemetery at 2:15 p.m.
A memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m on Sunday at the church.
Carl was born April 14, 1935 in Berlin, to Warner and Edna Maxwell.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene Maxwell, and four sons, Mark (Melissa) Maxwell, Wesley (Marga) Maxwell, Matthew (Jennifer) Maxwell and David (Alice) Maxwell. He has one sister, Mrs. Esther Frink; four grandsons, Mike (Denise) Van Sickle, Mark (Bobbi) Maxwell Jr., Evan Maxwell and Andrew Maxwell; and one granddaughter, Megan Maxwell. He has three great-grandchildren, Conner Maxwell, Ethan, Toby and Ashley Van Sickle.
