Cody Richey
ARCOLA — Cody Lee Richey, 63, of Arcola died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday (March 15, 1997) at his residence.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola with the Rev. Kent Conover officiating. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Newman the son of Justin and Coleta Clapp Richey. He married Vivian Harris in 1970. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Cody Justin Richey of Arthur, Paul James Richey, of Arcola, and Virgil Lee Richey, of Arcola; one daughter, Carla Henne of Fairgrange; one step-daughter, Mrs. Ken (Marie) Kingery of Villa Grove; two grandchildren; his mother, Coleta Peeler, of Arcola; and two half-brothers, Andy Shields of Arcola and Roger Shields of Champaign.
Mr. Richey was retired from the Thomas Monahan Co.
