Audrey Janes
ARCOLA — Audrey Janes, 84, of Arcola, died at 12:16 p.m. Monday (Dec. 8, 2003) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
A private family service will be conducted Wednesday at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 13, 1919, in Chesterville, daughter of Charles and Nellie Harshbarger Applegate.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Cox and Anita Gilliland, both of Arcola; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, five brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
Ms. Janes was a nurse's aid for Jarman Hospital in Tuscola for several years and also worked at several local nursing homes.
