Martha was born about 1725/26 based on her age at death (in 76th year), the daughter of Joseph Moore and Sarah Sackett. She married Joseph Titus Sr. (as his third wife) sometime between 1773 and 1782. She is presumed to have died in Hopewell Twp., old Hunterdon (now Mercer) Co., NJ, where she lived, as shown in her estate papers. She named a number of Moore relatives in her will, including her brother Nathaniel Moore.
