Henry "Hank" married Carol Cline in 1960 in Spokane, WA. Hank moved to Elko in 1977 to work as maintenance supervisor for the newly open Western States Mine. He later worked for Seco Industries for the construction of Independence Mine and worked on constructing offshore oil platforms in California. He retired from Newmont Gold Co. in 2001 after working there for 13½ years. He built wrought iron fences and art work in his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Carol; son, Donald Buck and daughter Jackie Scott, both of Elko; sisters, Carol Scott of Elko, Sheri Brooks of Alaska and Margaret Adamson of Roanoke, VA; and granddaughters, Beth and Michelle Scott of Elko.
