Ramal E. Young, age 90, of Sweetwater, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013 in Odessa.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Tommy Touchstone officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Ramal was born on Nov. 27, 1922 in Goldthwaite, Texas to Vinnie (Sullivan) and Wallace Geddes. She married Joe H. Young on Feb. 10, 1941 in Chandler, Arizona. She retired from AT&T. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Joe C. Young and his wife Kathy of Odessa and Wallace Young and wife Lori of Farmington, New Mexico. They had five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Young; two brothers, Glenn and Wayne Geddes; and two sisters, Faye Schultz and Helen Nanny.
