QUINCY - Oris "Buddy" Sadler, 77, a retired mechanic and heavy equipment operator, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lillian Sadler. The service will be at 10 a.m. EDT Tuesday at Independent Funeral Home in Quincy (875-1529), with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. EDT today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308-5428.

Mr. Sadler was a Baptist.
