Noah's father died when he was nine years old in 1820. On the 25 Jul 1828 he married Rachel Simons. Between 1828 and 1830 Noah and Rachel moved from Lawrence County to Greene County, Indiana, where they would raise ten children. Noah would make a living farming for fifty-five years. Noah died 10 Mar 1883.
