Bobby Joe Combs, 77, of Kerens, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
He was born May 21, 1936, to Marvin "Jack" Combs and Alma Leopard Combs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin "Jack" and Alma Combs; sister, Addie Beth Adams; and grandson, Bobby "Scooter" Dunn.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 53 years, Yvonne Combs of Kerens; daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Sammy Cline of Kerens; granddaughter and husband, Derinda and Hewitt Scott of Kerens; daughters and son-in-laws, Robin and Terry Fedrick of Edgewood and Tamara and Nick Housewright of Wills Point; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Marvin Combs of Kerens.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at Paschal Funeral Home in Kerens.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at Paschal Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Combs officiating. Interment to follow in the Kerens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Combs, Keith Combs, Daniel Combs, Marcus Combs, Jason Morlatt and Daniel Stringer.
Honorary pallbearers are Kent Combs, Sidney Combs, Roy Cowden and Dink Morgan.
