Marguerite Strickland, age 86, of Georgia, formerly of Blountsville, Alabama passed away in Kennesaw, Georgia on September 24, 2013.
Born in Gadsden, Alabama she was the daughter of the late Ralph E. and Lela Pearl Moore Cannon. She was a homemaker and loved quilting. She was a member of Blountsville Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Thomas F. Strickland and brothers, Frank Cannon and Robert Cannon. She is survived by sons, Rev. Kenneth Dale Strickland (Jane) of Mississippi and Thomas Randall Strickland (Cindy) of North Carolina; daughter, Linda Eaton (Ron) of Kennesaw, Georgia; grandchildren, Drew Strickland, Rhonda Greenway, Wesley Strickland, Olivia Conley, Laura Tindall, Sarah Strickland and Melissa Strickland; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers, Rev. Max Cannon (Kathryn), Eugene Ralph Cannon (Katie) and Dale Cannon (Sherry); and sisters, Christine Yarbrough and Mary Ann Hare (Thomas).
