Sarah Blanch Coleman McGee, 71, Cadiz, died at 1:19 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Bacon officiating.
Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
A native of Louisville, she was born March 23, 1942, the daughter of the late George W. Coleman and Learlean Burnett.
She was a retired professional chef and had worked at the Non-commissioned Officers Club for more than 20 years. She was a member of Little River Baptist Church, where she had served as an usher and in the culinary department.
Her husband, Columbus McGee, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Columbus McGee Jr., Charlie O. McGee and Curtis L. McGee, all of Cadiz; four brothers, Avis (Rosetta) Johnson, Harrisburg, Steve Johnson, Hopkinsville, and Clarence Johnson and Terry Johnson, both of Indianapolis; and three sisters, Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Bacon, Hopkinsville, Diane Barney, Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Robert (Cilvia) Dutton, Chicago.
