Funeral Services for Annette Trumpet Turner, 62, Daytona Beach, FL, will be 2 PM, Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Living Faith World Ministries, Apostle Tony Barhoo, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Annette Turner went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. She was born on August 1, 1951, in Monticello, Florida. She became a long term resident of Daytona Beach and a graduate of Mainland High School. Prior to her retirement, she had a long career working in the fields of social services and education.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her son: Joseph Turner, Jr.; an aunt: Clara Bell Ramsey and an uncle: William Trumpet.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Turner, Sr.; a daughter: Jeannine Turner-Heard (Kevin); mother: Ms. Lillie Mae Trumpet-Turner; father: Mr. Wise Blake; four sisters: Jennie V. Daffin (Edward), Barbara Trumpet, Janice Cummings-Crooms (Bille), Loretha Durant; four brothers: Nathaniel Trumpet (Pearl), Prince Daniels (Jhoan), James Trumpet, Cleveland Cummings; three grandchildren: Channing Turner, Joseph Turner, III, Kamyrn Heard; one great grandson: Xavier Turner; a host of loving nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
