She was born July 7, 1927 at Blackburn, Arkansas the daughter of Moses Shelton and Lucinda E. Center Redfern.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Fennell, two sisters, Mary Lou Tyree, Lucille Couch and two brothers, Charles Redfern and Robert Earl Redfern.

Survivors include one son, Tommy Fennell and wife Phyllis of Bentonville, Arkansas; two daughters, Lois Carpenter and Bob of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Linda Du Bois and Frank of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Irena Friedenburg, James Fennell, Michael Fennell, Vicki Burton,Tina Headrick, Ryan Dubois, Twelve great-grandchildren, Amber Lightfoot, Andie Miller, Walter Coats, Marissa Fennell, Braden Fennell, Nickolas Fennell, Megan Burton, Mandy Burton, James Burton, Melissa Laughlin, Julia Wood, Jessica Collins, and Nine great-great-grandchildren, Jimmy Lightfoot, Christopher Bird, Aubrey Miller, Collen Miller, Sarina Wilson, Jenna Wood, Jacob Wood, Daelyn collins, Maebrie Collins.

Funeral Service will be held Monday September 30, 2013 11:00 A.M. at the Fayetteville National Cemetery Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
