Naomi Pearl Riddle Gibson, 84, of Williamsburg, passed away on September 21, 2013.

Born on May 13, 1929, she was a native of Pemberton, W.Va. She was predeceased by her first husband, Clyde Riddle and her son, Clyde Edward Riddle.

A devoted Christian, Naomi was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Always giving, she had previously worked as a home care nurse in West Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to garage sales and collecting antiques. Above all else, she loved taking care of her family.

Naomi was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family, although they take comfort knowing that God has one more angel in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Gibson; sons, Rodney Riddle, Gene Riddle and Jamie Dale Riddle; and a host of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in West Virginia on Thursday, September 26, at 11 a.m.
