Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ken Maldonado officiating. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory.

Charles was born July 21, 1940 in Scottsbluff to Raymond and Esther (Kraft) Nagel. He graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1958. After graduation, Charles entered the U. S. Navy where he served on the aircraft carrier USS Bonhomme Richard. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he worked as an electrician and electrical sales rep throughout the region.
Charles met and married Linda S. Lattin on June 14, 1963. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons, David (Katrina) Nagel, Lyman, Matthew (Dawn) Nagel, Sioux Falls, S.D., Ty (Kristen) Nagel, Jamestown, N.D. and Ben (Laura) Nagel, Scottsbluff; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Westphalen, Scottsbluff, and several nieces and nephews.
Charles truly enjoyed his large garden and his family.
