Ana M. Altomare (nee Olivieri),
85, of Lorain died Thursday at New
Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph
after a short illness.
Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, she
lived in Lorain since 1951.
She was a member of the El
Dorado Center.
Mrs. Altomare enjoyed sewing,
yardwork and spending time with
children.
Survivors include a daughter,
Emily Demyan of Lorain; four
granddaughters; four brothers and
two sisters.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Joseph, in 1965.
Private services were Friday The
Rev. James Batcha, pastor of St.
Nicholas Byzantine Rite Catholic
Church in Lorain, officiated.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery
in Lorain.
