Carolyn Selders Mays was more affectionately known as "Kinkie" after a home permanent gone awry. She was full of love, full of life, an adventurer, a poet, a published writer, adored by all she met. Her words were always punctuated with her laughter. She was always smiling, always loving, always laughing her tinkley, glass windchimes laugh. Her pages and pages and pages of memories and insights that flowed so easily from her heart to her pen are treasures for all her family. Married 65 years to John Claytor Mays, she worked along side him in many endeavors and adventures. Our Aunt Kinkie... she was quite a gal!

Her ashes were scattered amongst the rose bushes at her daughter Laurie's home in Homosassa Springs FL.
