She was born on June 13, 1939 in Jackson County to Ara and Harley Richardson. On September 23, 1956 she married Johnnie E Hawkins who still survives. They had five children, JJ (Windie) Hawkins of Culleoka, Mike Hawkins of Columbia, Sam Hawkins(already an angel), Sandra(James) Ables of Pulaski, and Marty(Sonya) Hawkins of Lewisburg. From these children she loved came the greatest love of her life--her seven grandchildren Cliff Hawkins, Bear Hawkins, Amanda Hawkins, Travis Smith, Stacey Rich, Drew Hawkins and Samantha Hawkins. They have given her eleven great-grandchildren.
She has one sister Judy (Hugh) Hix of Cookeville and also leaves behind a great friend Erika (Peanut) Baillargeon.
Some of us called her Net, some Jeanette, but she answered to them with a smile. She was a simple woman who loved farm life and helping others.
Pallbearers will be Cliff Hawkins, Bear Hawkins, Travis Smith, Drew Hawkins, Duane Burnett, Richie Hawkins, John Hix, and Kenny Baillargeon.
