Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Eloise Harper; Two Sons, Jimmy Harper Jr. and Johnny Harper; Two Daughters, Judy Harper and Jackie Harper Ipock; Three Grandchildren, Kourtney Harper, Nathan Ipock, and Jimmie Ipock, all of Meridian; Two Brothers, Ben Harper of Causeyville and Leval Harper of Meridian; Two Sisters, Jenny Mayatt of Meridian and Dot Burns of Perry, FL; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Florence Harper; a daughter, Joann Harper; Sister, Jewel Harper Shirley; and a brother, D. Lee Harper Jr.
Pallbearers will be Ben Harper Jr., Marty Harper, Tommy Harper, and David Mayatt.
