Timothy Lee Hess, age 52, of Bloomsburg died on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, a patient of Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Tim was born Thursday, Aug. 3, 1961, in Bloomsburg, a son of James L. Hess of Bloomsburg, and Joanne (Ent) Hess of Bloomsburg. While attending high school, Tim was a very accomplished athlete and held numerous baseball records. In 1980, Tim completed his education after graduating from Bloomsburg High School. Tim was employed by many companies throughout the Susquehanna Valley. He was also a very big fan and player of baseball.
In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by a son: Cody J. Hess of Bloomsburg; four siblings: Linda Wondoloski and husband, Michael, of Baltimore, Md.; Thomas Hess and wife, Becky, of Bloomsburg; Susan Miller and husband, Stephen, of Millville; and Todd Hess of Bloomsburg.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, Sept. 29, from 1 to 2 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will also begin Sunday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home Inc., Bloomsburg, with Pastor Caleb Fritz of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating.
