Elizabeth Anne Rhoads-Roiland, 33, of Oskaloosa, Iowa, died Saturday September 21, 2013, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

She was born Friday, December 7, 1979, in Oskaloosa, the daughter of Jeffrey Rhoads and Anna Rios Olsasky.

Beth graduated from the Oskaloosa High School with the class of 1998. Following high school Beth went to work at Younkers in Des Moines for a couple years. She then worked at Pella Corp for a time. Following the birth of her youngest child, Beth became a homemaker. Later, Beth worked as an assistant manager at Brooks Brothers in Des Moines. She enjoyed music and reading -- always had a book nearby. Beth delighted most in spending time with her children and playing board games and Wii with them. She also enjoyed helping her son Ethen practice baseball.

Beth's family includes her parents, Jeff (& Linda) Rhoads of Oskaloosa and Anna (& Larry) Olsasky of Des Moines; her four children, Ethen and Izabella Roiland of Oskaloosa and her twins Halsey Harper and Alora May Nible; a fiancé, Kasey Nible of Oskaloosa; two brothers, Nicholas Rhoads (& Brena Huber) of Mesa, Arizona, and Chad (& Tiffany) Ford of Oskaloosa; a sister, Erica (& Jeff) Humphrey of North Carolina; her paternal grandmother, Linda Rhoads of Oskaloosa; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Clarice Sams of Knoxville, Iowa, and Carolyn Kennedy of Polk City, Iowa; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Carl "Bub" Rhoads; and maternal grandparents, Margaret Wilson and Gladys and Kenneth Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 11 A.M. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa, with Pastor Alvern Boetsma officiating. Burial will be in Service Chapel Cemetery near Albia, Iowa. Visitation will begin Tuesday after 1 P.M. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa, with the family present at the funeral chapel Tuesday from 5 to 7 P.M. to greet friends and relatives.
