She was born in Riverside, Calif., and lived most of her life in Lake City, Arkansas.
Anita enjoyed reading, hunting, doing crafts, woodburning, being on Facebook and loved her grandbabies. She was a Baptist.
Anita is preceded in death by her grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Kenneth May of the home; two daughters, Natasha (Michael) Moreno of Lunsford and Cassandra May of Jonesboro; sister, Tamera (Chris) Sheaffer of Sapulpa, Okla.; three grandchildren, Mackenzie and Trevor Moreno and Alexander Smith; and parents Bruce and Alice Hazelwood.
Arrangements were by: Emerson Memorial Chapel. A graveside service were in Pine Hill Cemetery.
