BROOKSHIRE, REBECCA ANN RIMMER - born October 22, 1975, passed away suddenly Saturday, September 21, 2013. Rebecca was a devoted mother who loved her boys very much. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, and loved to read, dance and spend time at the beach. Rebecca was a graduate of Farragut High School Class of 1993, received a B.A. degree from UNCA, and a Master's degree from UT Knoxville. She was employed as a Knox County Education Guidance Counselor and had served at West High School, and was currently at Ridgedale Alternative School. Preceded in death by grandparents Russell and Peggy Green and Harris, Sr. and Mary Rimmer. She is survived by the two beautiful sons, Ethan Webb Brookshire and Peyton Dean Brookshire; her parents, Harris (Buddy), Jr. and Patricia Green Rimmer; sister, Jessica Lyn Rimmer Cooper and husband Burton Cooper; sister Melissa Kay Rimmer Massey; grandmother Elizabeth Green; niece and nephew Mollie Kay and Maclain Cooper Massey; aunt Judy Howard; uncle Rick Green; aunt Vicki Dagnan, and many other cousins and extended family members. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 3:00 p.m., Highland Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Brent Hall officiating.
