Leroy McCormick, 77, of Harrison, died Tuesday, March 13 (2012) at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at Holt Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 19, also at the chapel. Brother Rick Posey and Brother Carl Garvin will conduct the service.
Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kenny Halsted, Darrell Halsted, Bill Martin, Jimmy Blackwell, Terry Faulkenberry and Jim Brazell. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Blackwell, Tom Potts, Larry Williams and A.G. Rogers.
The son of Leonard Eugene and Flora Jane (Watkins) McCormick was born Feb. 13, 1935, at Harrison. Leroy was a Christian and the former owner of McT Furniture Store.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Jaden Lee McCormick.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (Bratton) McCormick; his son, Kent McCormick and his wife, Skipper; his daughter, Lesa Rogers and her husband, Todd; and his grandchildren, Drew, Luke, Daniel, Joshua, Nathan, Lydia, Ashton, Kolby and Emmalee; two brothers, Lex McCormick and wife, Edna and Jerry McCormick and wife, Patti; and a sister, Peggy Unwer.
