In May of 1979, Chester and Karen attended the senior prom.He wore a baby blue tuxedo with his signature black top hat.

Summer of 1979,he and a friend took a road trip cross country to the mountains of Washington. He told me he would like to live there some day.

Chester was on the baseball and football teams. He broke his right leg in a football game in 9th grade. He insisted on staying until the end of the game,at which time his teammates carried him to my car.It was a tiny Fiat Spider convertible. They could hardly get him in.

Chester also had two horses, Peanut Butter and Briarlywood. He would go every day after school to Bluestone Stables to muck the stalls and brush them.He won many ribbons and a silver tray in competitions.

He loved to drive the Fiat.He used to sneak it out of the driveway at night and then replace the gas, so I wouldn't know he had driven it.

Chester had a dirt bike which he loved to ride before he had his license.Once he got his license, he had a green van and a motorcycle.

He had a quadraphonic stereo system with giant speakers. He would take it to parties. His favorite bands were Frank Zappa and Pink Floyd. He went to many concerts, one of them being the Paul McCartney Wings concert.

Chester was living with me in a beautiful townhouse. The morning of his passing, for some reason he kissed me on the cheek, told me he loved me and that everything would be all right. I can still feel that kiss on my cheek!
