Alice M. Tunseth, 75, Mayville, died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, in Union Hospital, Mayville.

Alice Mae Horner was born July 15, 1930, in Finley, N.D. She graduated from Hope (N.D.) High School in 1949. On Nov. 11, 1950, she married Paul Tunseth in Mayville. She worked as a nurse's aide for Union Hospital and Mayville Clinic from 1950 to 1979. After working as a nurse in Fargo and Valley City, she graduated from Rainy River Junior College, International Falls, Minn., in 1981. She worked as a nurse in Fergus Falls then moved to Peever, S.D., where she owned and operated a convenience store and worked for Browns Valley Nursing Home. She moved to Grand Forks, N.D., where she worked for Parkwood Place. She worked as a nurse at Luther Memorial Home, Mayville.

She is survived by three sons, Scott (Kathy), Jeff, Peter (Carolyn); five brothers, Wayne, Peever, Jon (Ardys), Detroit Lakes, Minn., Robert (Sonja), Dent, Minn., Dennis (Peggy), Grand Forks, David (Myrna), Ottertail, Minn.; two sisters, Betty (Clarence) Siems, Southworth, Wash., Lois (Sterling) Cole, Port Orchard, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.
