Kenneth E. Chaney, 71, of Rantoul passed away on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Asta Care in Paxton.
He was born Jan. 7, 1942 in Champaign, a son of Emerson and Erna Miller Chaney. He was preceded in death by his parents. He married Loretta Rogers on Oct. 14, 1962 in Rantoul. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Debra Wilcoxon and Darren Chaney; a sister, Vi (Doug) Schweighart and two grandchildren, Kenny Wilcoxon and Kara Wilcoxon.
He worked at the Rantoul Post Office for 35 years, retiring in 2001.
