He was born in Yeadon. He was a graduate of Haverford High School in 1983, and Cabrini College in 1989. He was employed by Anro Ink in Devon, as a supervisor. He was a member of St. Denis Parish and served as a member on the St. Denis Beautification Committee and the St. Denis Historical Society. He also volunteered his time as coach for Merwood Little League. He had many enjoyments in life such as fly-fishing, hunting and woodworking, but he most enjoyed his family.
He is survived by his widow, Mary Ellen George of Havertown; devoted father of Ryan and Cameron George; brother of Lawrence V. George (the late Randi), Celia G. Mooney (Mark), Susan Morrison (Mark), Amy Jo Nendza (Bill), and Steven J. George, son of Lawrence G. and the late Joanne George, son-in-law of Michael and Ellen Friel.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 13 at St. Denis Church, Havertown.
Interment was in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown.
