Myrtle Booker Cross, 91, of Prescott passed away September 21, 2013 in Hope, AR.
Mrs. Cross was born August 27, 1922 to Murrel and Mamie Francisco Booker, Sr. She was a wonderful artist, who taught others and won numerous awards for her work doing oil paintings and china.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Cross was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years Charlie; a son Charles Ray Cross; brothers: Douglas Booker, Raymond Booker and Murrell Booker, Jr; and grandchildren: Adam, Lynna, and Sherrie Cross.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Joan (Paul) Noesser of Blevins, AR; a son Danny Cross of Hope, AR and a daughter-in-law Nancy Cross of Prescott, AR; grandchildren Lisa (Stan) Brzeski, Lynn (Karen) Noesser, Donna (David) Hoover, and Dan (Christina) Cross; great-grandchildren Tyler, Amy, Trish, Vanessa, Vince, and Emily; six great-great grandchildren; a sister Dorothy Langston of Emmet, AR and a brother Dale Booker of Emmet, AR.
Visitation for Mrs. Cross will be Monday, September 23, 2013 at 1pm in the Pharr Funeral Home chapel in Prescott, AR with funeral services immediately following at 2pm in the chapel with Bro. Joe Miller officiating, interment to follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Chairitable Christian Clinic 1202 S. Main St. Hope, AR 71801
