Dorothy was the wife of Walter Munch. They were married in Lemont, Cook County, Illinois on 18 April 1923.

Ate 93. Saturday, Oct. 5, 1996, at Salem Village. Late of Lockport. Survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Lee) Skarin of California; two sons, Walter Munch of Joliet, and Lloyd (Jacquie) Munch of Lockport; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Freda Lemke of Florida, and Ethel White of Naperville. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong Lockport area resident. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter munch; daughter-in-law, Betty Munch; parents, Charles and Margaret (Boe) Berlin; and brother, Harry Berlin. Lifelong member, St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Charter member, St. Paul's Hanna Alter Guild. Flower Growers Garden Club of Lockport. Member of the advisory board of Silver Cross Hospital for 20 years.
Family will receive friends at the Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Monday 3 to 7 p.m. Lying in state Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until time of services at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. mark H. Hein officiating. Interment: Hills of Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
