He was a wood worker for the the North Hudson Equipment Co., for more than 25 years, before he retired in 1953. He moved to Westmoreland about 10 years ago to live with his son, Edward J. Eccleston.
Besides his son Edward J. Eccleston, Westmoreland; a daughter, Mrs. Everett (Dorothy) Sacia, Canastota and a brother, Albert L. Eccleston, Rome.
