Larry Jay Broadbent, 60 of Mapleton, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2005. He was born April 20, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jay Sterling and Beverly Harrison Broadbent. He married Nathalie Hatfield May 31, 1968 in the Salt Lake Temple. She preceded him in death March 26, 2005.
Larry graduated from Provo High School and went on to serve a LDS Mission to Austria. He attended BYU and received his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Oregon. He served in the U.S. Army in Maryland. Larry practiced dentistry in Provo for 28 years. He actively served the LDS Church on the High Council and as a faithful home teacher.
