MRS. KITTA C. HUESTED

Mrs. Kitta Carmontry Huested, wido of Harmon Huested, aged 87, died Sunday, February 14th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gerald Henderson, Parish after a long illness.

Mrs. Huested has been blind for 26 years and had been bedridden for 9 years. She was born in French Street, town of Mexico, the daughter of the late Fred Carmontry and Mrs. Harriet ?eeber Achor. She lived in Hastings until her marriage in 1896 but had made her home in the town of Parish for years. She attended Parish school and was educated to be a teacher.

She learned to read and write Braille and to use a typewriter in her late 60's.

Mrs. Huested is survived by two other daughters, Miss Anna Aab of Springfield, Mo., and Mrs. Frances Cammarita, New York City; five grandchildren, Mrs. Stephen Misgala, Oswego, Mrs. Philip Kranz, Attamont, Mrs. Jerome Paige, Mrs. Ralph Ashton, both of New York City and Gerald H. Henderson of Parish. Also 4 great grandchildren.

Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Harter Funeral Home, Parish, the Rev. Frank Halse, pastor of the Parish Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Carley Mills Cemetery in the spring.
