Kathryn Hubbard, 44, of Crossett died Friday, June 4, 1999, at her home. She was a native of Ashley Country, a department manager at Wal-Mart and a member of the Faith Center Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and a member of the choir. She was preceded in death by a son, Cleotis Devon Johnson; her father, William Grayson; and a brother, Marcus Johnson. Survivors are her husband, Jimmy Ray Hubbard of Crossett; a son, Lenwood Johnson of Monroe, LA; a daughter, Charlene Henderson of Crossett; her mother, Tressie Cromwell of Crossett; four brothers, Lavoris Johnson of Louisiana, Tony Johnson of Bastrop, LA; Marvin Johnson of Redfield, and Peter Grayson of Milwaukee, WI; six sisters, Ruby Henderson and Elizabeth Smith of San Bernardino, CA, Sheila Cromwell of Crossett, and Veronica Fulsom, Jennifer Smith and Shanice Medley of Milwaukee; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 11, in the New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Adkins officiating. Pallbearers will be Benny Couser, Horace Ingram, Charles Franklin, Willie Ashford, Carl Dupree and Cedric Coleman. Burial will follow services at the Westview Cemetery, directed by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
