Funeral services for Daisy Branch Allen, 71, of Shreveport will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Bossier City Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Garden of Memories in Winnfield.

Mrs. Allen died at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17, 1978 at Bossier General Hospital after a long illness.

A native of Dodson, Mrs. Allen had lived in Shreveport for about a year and one half and was a former Winnfield resident. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include four daughters, Nelwyn Luttrell of Shreveport, Mrs. Pat Warner of Bossier City, Jacqueline Ahearn of Houston, Texas, and Ann Santelli of New Orleans; her mother, Louella Branch of Winnfield; five sisters, Florence Knotts of Shreveport, Mrs. Paul Haigler of Colfax, Mrs. Virgil Tarver of Jena, and Irene Harveston and Mrs. Cortense Adams, both of Jonesboro; two brothers, Robert Branch of Montgomery, Ala., and Stanley Branch of Sikes; 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
