Mr. Dyer, a U.S. Air Force veteran, was a dearly beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Scott Dyer.
He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his daughters, Wendy Dyer and Megan Dyer Mack of Huntsville; sister, Chris Blackey of Mississippi; sons-in-law, Wyatt Keefer and Jason Mack of Huntsville; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Thurber officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson's Research or the Downtown Rescue Mission.
