Services for Michael James "Mike" Whittle, age 51, of Dexter will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 23, 2013, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Keith Hall will officiate.
Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Church.
Mr. Whittle was a native of Laurens County. He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and was a truck driver. He died Thursday, September 19, 2013. Michael was preceded in death by his wife Lisa Mullis Whittle and his grandparents, Emory and Gussie Whittle and Thomas and Claudie Howard.
