Muriel married Arthur Grell November 20, 1943 at the Pioneer Baptist Church in Pound.
She farmed with her husband many years in the Town of Brazeau. She belonged to homemakers and was Dairy 4-H leader for Brazeau Black Hawks 4-H Club. Muriel loved gardening. She planted and cared for many beautiful flowers in her yard on County Road Q, which many people admired.
She is survived by one daughter Jeanne (Melvin) Davy of Hokah, MN;
two granddaughters: Teri Peters, Hokah, MN and Nicole Rockafellow, Dan Antonio, TX
and one grandson Thomas Davy, Hokah, MN;
one adopted granddaughter Grace Grell,
one adopted grandson Joseph Grell,
eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Muriel was preceded in death by her son Richard Grell,
husband Arthur Grell,
two brothers, William Renier and Joseph Renier,
four sisters: Mary (August) DeBauche; Elsie (Gordon) Baker,Lorraine (Ernest) Alsteen and Marjorie (Merlin) Nieland.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 235 E. Main St., Coleman Saturday, Oct. 17th from 9 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 A.M. with Pastor Mark Kostreva officiating. Muriel will be placed to rest at First Baptist Cemetery, Pound
