Services will be held today at 11:00 a.m. in the Levine Chapel in Brookline for Edward I. BELKIN, 64, of Waltham, an insurance company representative. He died Monday after suffering a coronary attack while transacting business in a Waltham bank.
He was born and raised in Boston.
After graduation from high school, he entered the Army during World War II and served as a tank commander in Europe.
After his discharge, he entered Harvard University but left college to join the Army Reserve where he served 18 years.
He worked for the Arkwright-Boston Insurance Company in Waltham.
He leaves his brother, Arnold BELKIN of Georgetown, and two sisters, Lillian NEWMAN of Chelsea and Beatrice BORNSTEIN of Los Angeles.
