Edward A. Stangl was born at Templeton, Iowa on February 18, 1896 and died at the Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan, Iowa on February 23, 1955 at the age of 59 years and five days.
In September 1920 he was united in marriage to the former Eva Moylan of Coon Rapids, Iowa.
For the past ten years he has been employed as a meat cutter at the Swanson Super Store.
Surviving are his wife and three children; Marjorie (Mrs. Bob Nelson) and John of Harlan, Iowa; Mary (Mrs. Eugene Finken) of Des Moines, Iowa and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at St. Michael's Catholic Church at ten o'clock Saturday morning February 26 with Rev. Leo J. Gannon officiating at the Requiem High Mass.
Interment was in the Harlan Cemetery.
